How does the web app look and feel to use?

Allrecipes combines images and text to help entice its users to try the recipes posted. The site features a plain white background with hints of orange and red throughout. This primarily white color scheme works well because of the amount of information found on the site. How does the registration process work?

A new user can join the Allrecipes community by clicking the orange, grey and white “Join for Free” button found in the upper, right hand corner of the homepage. A pop up box will appear asking the user to check which All Recipe newsletters they would like to sign up for. Along the right hand side, the user is asked to supply an email address, username, zip code and password. A box at the bottom of the form must be checked to confirm that the user is at least 13 years old and agrees to the Allrecipes privacy policy and terms and conditions.
